Awareness is really everything. It can be a matter of life and death. It is the difference between existing and living rich or living a life full of life and not a life full of boring-ness. What makes me say this?

Well for starters, I was not born aware but I have become aware. I guess at this point I should define aware and unaware so I don’t lose anyone.

I see people living a life of awareness or being totally unaware. For me it is two different types of life. Awareness is living your life and recognizing how your internal thoughts, feelings, and attitudes affect your external world… even shaping the situations and circumstances you find yourself in and facing… and how this relates directly with what is inside your mind.

Awareness is also recognizing how what you do affects other people. Lack of awareness is a lack of consideration for others.

Take the cold businessman for example who is unaware:

He makes it a lifestyle to always take from people. He is a predator. He is a hunter. He will use you, your money and your network to score a deal. He will over step his boundaries when it comes to using you, your money and your network and will have no problem abusing you so long as he can score a deal or close business.

He will have no regard for you or your money or your network and the impact his abusive actions have on all of this including himself.

When he oversteps his boundaries and you scold him for his improper and dangerous actions, he stands there with a blank look on his face. He stands there looking at you funny thinking you are talking crazy or simply doesn’t understand what he has done.

He doesn’t understand that his actions could have ruined the entire operation for everyone including other businesspeople and companies who are partnered with the operation.

Then he has the nerve to ask for an advance on commissions or to take a bigger stake in the next deal. Meanwhile he just got caught doing a side deal with a fierce competitor and this side deal has angered all partners globally because the side deal he did crashed the profit margin for all partners.

He basically screwed everybody – all the other “team members” or partners – for his own personal gain and doesn’t understand or see why he is being denied the advance in commissions nor does he realize how close he came to losing his job and being homeless.

This is what I call an unaware person. He doesn’t see how his actions affect everything around him. He has zero clue about how playing on a team means cooperation with others is essential for victory.

An unaware person is usually a self-ish person. They do not realize that by working with the hopes and needs and wants and feelings of others they may score the biggest deals of all time.

An unaware person is a taker. They are an energetic vampire and usually are cheap in every aspect of their lives. They love getting a deal, which means they love screwing another out of their livelihood and ability to feed their families and provide for them a decent quality of life.

This makes the unaware person dangerous to all of society.

So my question is… are there any energetic vampires in your life? Know of any? How about you? Are you a taker and don’t even know it?

We will talk about awareness in this part but we must do first things first.

When things repeat, there is a cycle involved. Take music for example. An old album spinning or a new CD or DVD spinning. These objects are circular and rotate or spin. Round and round they go repeating their cycle and with it, brining wondrous sounds and great entertainment value.

This spinning mass is an object that stores data. Same with your hard drive in your computer. It spins close to 7200 rpm and stores data. The earth is a globe that spins on its axis and spins again and again in large volumes being a part of a solar system, universe, galaxy etc.

When you repeat something, you get a second and third and fourth chance to improve it. It's called practice and usually we can't get it right the first time around. So we go through the motions (cycle) again and again and this is called practice. Practice makes perfect. This means Mother Nature is constantly practicing over and over again to improve Herself and this really means us.  But how do we improve ourselves? How do I use this to better myself and to experience more success. more financial success?

We must take four steps to accomplish this and it really begins with understanding and awareness.

1.       Recognition

2.       Acknowledgment

3.       Acceptance

4.      Application

We live in a world chalked full of circular laws and a world of repeatable events - "history repeats." Our cells are round and not square. The wheel is round not square. This permits motion and fluidity - better known as life. Dead things do not move.

Chances are if you square yourself into existence with everything from attitude to planning to physical action, the cycle will repeat itself over and over again until there is so much pain it forces you to re-think your participation into a different mode of operation. It really isn't hip to be square. It's a prison sentence.

Care to put this circular / cycle concept into scientific discovery?

   Ready???

Grab a bottle of Windex or glass cleaner, a roll of paper towel, and approach any shaped window or piece of glass, mirror included. Now spray the glass cleaner on the glass and clean it by wiping the glass.

What did you discover?

p.s. Understanding (realization) is far, far more important than putting it into words or actions.

p.p.s. Self fulfillment is more powerful than all the kings horses and all the kings men.

p.p.p.s. Working and on "thy Self" is vastly more important than working on the whole.

Fulfill thy Self, let God/Universe fulfill all the rest. Awareness is EVERYTHING.

Did you review this link?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Season

So what did you learn? Did you learn that time brought in the seasons and time changed the seasons? Did you learn that time was also responsible for changing your life with the changing of the seasons and the weather within the seasons?

Did you also learn that time was also something else more incredible to put into words? Did you learn that time heals all things?

Yes? No? Well consider this.

Mother Nature is a clockmaker - a keeper of time if you will. Time pervades everything and with it, a set of guidelines to keep the clock ticking and "on time" - pardon the pun. Tardiness is never a good thing as lateness is frowned upon by all. Mother Nature provides us with an environment to flourish and perish, to win and lose all at once.

It is important for us to understand that this is a world of opposites and differences. For the most part, human kind is ever developing and the difference in stimuli (between up and down, left and right, hot and cold) is necessary for most of us to appreciate and understand the difference between both. This is meant to assist us in the selection process of pleasure and comfort over pain as a means of becoming "aware".

So what does it mean to become "aware"? It means to recognize that we have the power to choose more joy and happiness over everything else. In a nutshell it means being able to decide for ourselves rather than having decisions made for us by the world and others.

We will talk about awareness in the next BLOG!

But consider this.

The day you realize comfort and joy is a better way to go the same day you will stop being faced with these dramatic decisions and emotionally draining situations in your life. But even then, a diet complete of only rich gravy and sweet icing can be a nuisance too so, we must have a little "excitement" even now and then to appreciate the finest life has to offer.

Let's bring you back.

Mother Nature has a structure and rhythm to it just as does everything. There is a rhythm to the sudden weather changes in my home province of Alberta in Canada and weather forecasters use past records to make future predictions.

If only they had the complete weather "manual".

Seeing as they don't they comb through the archives of weathering to put out data for the benefit of us all. How nice. So accurate are they with their noses in the past (records), the rest of us put our trust and faith in the forecast that we actually plan our life events, great and small, in line with these "renegade future tellers". LOL!

But how can we trust in what they foretell? Because it is accurate and so much so time and time again. When an accuracy rate is extremely high and when we can expect an outcome based on the recordings and measurements of the present and past, we can safely call it a science or a repeated provable set of principles. and weather forecasting really is a science!

Seriously, it is both. No really, it's actually everything. Here, pull up a chair and let me explain.

Time heals all things. Think about it for a second. Take off the iPod, put down your phone, and give it some thought for 15 seconds. OK, you ready?

Time makes all things possible both good and bad for better or for worse. I grew up in Canada in the province of Alberta and we have a saying, "If you don't like the weather, wait three minutes." In a mere seconds we can go from rain to sleet to hail to snow to sunshine. Talk about serious swings in the climate! Hiyo! It can be a major pain in the butt because you always bring a jacket with you or an umbrella or both. If you are smart you bring a light raincoat or Gortex Jacket, like I do, which acts as both!

Now, can we control the weather? No, of course not, but we can dress for it and run with the changes and do so with a measure of success (comfort) IF WE UNDERSTAND the nature of Mother Nature... and guess what my friend? We actually understand Mother Nature very well and it is not all because of science but because we pay attention to our surroundings.

Mother Nature (take the weather for example) is what it is; a force that must be respected. It is a set of rules or principles - more like laws - that cannot be broken. We must recognize these laws in order to align our actions with "Her" will if we wish to get the most out of what we are doing.

There are laws behind the weather. Mother Nature tells us these laws are set through the use of time. Here they are:

Spring: March 20 to June 20 (time or length of season: approx. 91.25 days)

Summer: June 21 to September 21 (time or length of season: approx. 91.25 days)

Autumn: September 22 to December 20 (time or length of season: approx. 91.25 days)

Winter: December 21 to March 19 (time or length of season: approx. 91.25 days)

When it comes to the seasons and the weather, Mother Nature does not punish or reward us. It just "is" the way it "is".

Right?

I mean really, we are not hit with cold winter weather because we are bad or did something awful. There is no judgment here, nor is there any shame or hate directed at us. It's just a part of living on Earth. The seasons and the weather and TIME is a set of guidelines to follow because we have to, because this is what is here for us to experience.

Follow the rules in any scenario or game for a most enjoyable experience. Why should it be any different with a god-given rule or a man-made rule? Life really is a game and until you begin viewing it and treating it as one, I do believe you will take everything too seriously and live out a life of dissatisfaction and frustration.

Here is a link about the seasons and about time and about cycles. Read up on it to prepare yourself for PART 2 next week.

You can put your iPod back on and turn your phone back on.
